Spelling Word Activities!

Bingo!

• Use the spelling words plus some review words and create a bingo board.
• The first round the instructor models this procedure

1. Say word.
2. Spell the word.
3. Use it in a sentence.
4. Show all members.

• Then allow the winner to pick cards and follow the procedure!

Spelling Bee

• Two teams.
  
• Each team has a marker board.
  
• Teacher says the word and uses it in a sentence.
  
• The team members have 1 minute to decide on the spelling quietly so the other team doesn’t hear.
  
• When time is up, teams turn their board to the teacher and find out if they are right.
• Prizes to be determined??
